Fundraisers
Each fundraiser pays for something specific at Clark. Here is what we run during the year, what it funds and how to take part.
What it all adds up to
Every dollar raised goes back to Clark students, teachers and families.
Field trips and buses
Admission and transportation so every class gets to go, whatever a family can pay.
Classroom supplies
Books, art materials, science kits and the small things teachers would otherwise buy themselves.
Teacher grants
Twice a year, teachers apply for funding for a project or program. The PTO votes on the requests at a meeting.
Family events
Movie night, the fall carnival, the spring picnic and the little extras that make them feel special.
Books and reading
New titles for the library and every classroom, plus the book fair and reading challenges.
This year's fundraisers
Fall Fun Run
November
Students collect pledges from family and friends, then run laps on the Clark field while the whole school cheers. It is our biggest fundraiser of the year.
Pays for: field trips and buses for every grade.
Scholastic Book Fair
December and spring
A week of books in the library. Classes visit during the day and families shop before and after school. A share of every purchase comes back to Clark as new books.
Pays for: library and classroom books.
Panda Pledge
All year
A direct gift to the PTO, once or monthly, in any amount. No wrapping paper, no candy bars, and 100 percent of it stays at Clark.
Pays for: teacher grants and classroom supplies.
Restaurant nights
Monthly
Eat at a local restaurant on PTO night and a percentage of your bill comes back to the school. Dates and places are on the events calendar and in the newsletter.
Pays for: family events.
Panda spirit wear
All year
T-shirts, hoodies and hats in Clark black, white and yellow. Wear them on spirit days and field trips.
Pays for: assemblies and enrichment.
Prefer to give directly?
A gift to the Panda Pledge goes straight to teacher grants and classroom supplies.
